    Brumation?

    Is it normal for my tegu to burrow under the natural wood chips every night? Should he surface everyday or...? Was told he wasn't in the middle of brumation when I got him

    My tegu has buried himself under the natural wood chips I have provided and that's where he still is from last night. Do they come out throughout the day...how do I know if it's brumation? Anyone plz help with some knowledge. Thanks in advance!

    Is it normal for my Tegu to close his eyes while bathing? Water is about 90-95...and do they close eyes otherwise often?
