Yes! I chose him because he was the darkest one at the shop I got him at! He was also the biggest. All the previous beardies I've had were all very light colored, so he (or she) stood out to me! I think it's going to look pretty cool when he gets bigger!
Yes, I read that also! He did stop since I've been handling it more now. I'm trying to get him to be calmer when I take him out of his tank to handle him, which is becoming quite the challenge! But once I hold him for a little bit and start rubbing his head he calms down pretty quick. However...
I just got a new little beardie yesterday and I already love it! I've had them before, but none of my previous ones ever waved! This one has been doing it alot since I brought it home, I think to it's reflection! It's so funny and cute! :)

I'm getting these two bearded dragons because my friend is getting rid of them. She says the male (darker one) keeps biting on the female's neck. Is that normal? & Should I continue keeping them together like my friend does?
Yesterday I put water in his tank like i usually do, but I spent alot more time around and in the tank than usual. Come to my surprise he started to come out and see what I was doing, but didn't make much progress after that. Later on I reached down to pet him and he started huffing and puffing...
So I've had my gold tegu for about 3 months now. When I first got him he was somewhat tame. He would just sit on my shoulder for a while, and occasionally try to walk around and explore.
Now, for some reason, I can't even seem to get him out of his cage. Everytime I try, he huffs and puffs...
Today I saw ants in my tegu's tank. Last time I saw ants in there I took all the ecoearth out of the bottom and put new stuff in. Should I do it again or is it okay?
