Mine is about 7 mos. I use his food to lure him out. I wonder if that's bad?!?! Otherwise, he runs if I try to pick him up.

I use nail clippers as well. As the previous poster mentioned, be careful of their "quick" so they don't bleed. I then do a little filing to smoothen.

Had this little guy for just under 3 weeks and he's already letting me trim and file his razor blades. Only took a half hour but it's done!
I've been spending a couple hours a day the last week and a half taming him and it has definitely paid off.
