While Hibernating

What should we do?

First time going through hibernation. I'm unsure of really what I should be doing if anything. I have had the lights off for a little over a month now. Temperature varies from 65 to 70, I check the cage everyday to see if he has been out or not. I have dumped the water out since he has not been out for more than three weeks. I just keep getting this paranoid feeling that he is dead in the burrow or something for some reason. I guess I'm just worried, anyone else going through this?

Well u not supposed to but move your hand around the enclosure amd leave the water in there

Leave water because they might frequently come out to poop and drink. And if you dig him out he will go right back under.

I did leave water but Ive been checking everyday and theres been no tail marks in the dirt or anything moved in weeks so I just left the water empty until I see that he has come up

I stroked nile's back once cuz worried same thing as you...he moved. So now I'm just trusting he's doing what comes naturally. I don't have any lights on now but have heat pad on low on 'warm ' side. Also 2 water bowls and I keep misting. Praying we all get through this! Waiting and wondering sucks! :/

Also I was wondering...niles was sooooo nice and calm and friendly from day one. Is he going to 'remember ' me or be grouchy with me when he finally wakes up?
