Why not just use a couple 55w halogen flood lights? The 250w bulbs you posted will suck up all the humidity in the enclosure.

With halogen that's just heat and no uvb right? I have a uvb mounted in my enclosure but just wondering... i saw these dual socket mountings for floodlights and was thinking of pointing one at basking area and the other out towards the rest of enclosure for sort of ambient temp. Good/bad idea?

Correct, halogens offer no UVB.

As far as your dual socket idea, not sure. It is something you would have to try and see if you got the result you wanted.
