Water Proofing after the fact

There's a section of my enclosure which I think may, in fact, not be as water tight as I would have hoped. Is there a safe(!) way to do mild changes to the enclosure? Mind you, I don't have a secondary enclosure to put my little guy in for, say, 7 days to wait for curing.

Also, this is just a matter of me being safe. It *may* be alright, but I have doubts now...

If you can take him out for a few hours, you can caulk the seam and let it dry. What are you using for substrate?
