I would like some insight from some of you who have bought them, and use them. Im contemplating on buying a 6x3 vision cage for my tegu, but i see that they are not deep enough too put enough mulch in, so my tegu can burrow. How does your tegu burrow in these cages? Post pics if you have any, please! Thanks!

right now i do not have pciture but i will post them when i get home on tuesday. My blue just got down graded to a 4 foot vision cage. With my old 6 foot vision i used a 8"x6' strip of plexi glass and hot glued it to the front of the cage, just behind the runners. this alloed for a 6" layer of mulch. To give him a deep area to dig I used a rubbermaid container that hold a foot deep of mulch. Using this techique allows for my to keep the humidity high in the rubbermaid (i leave the lid on and there is a tegu size hole in the top for him to climb in and out of). Right now in the 4 footer I only have 2" of cocohusk (cypress is too hard to find here). It gives him some to root around in. He still digs in his rubber maid, he seems to really like it because he can sractch his back to get rid of sheds. Visions are not ideal for tegus but if you move like i do they really help when it comes moving time becuase i can lift this by myself easily up and down stairs.
