Trying to figure out my lights and temps still

Alright I posted some pics of my enclosure I just finished earlier. So after a couple weeks now I am still trying to get everything just right.

My basking spot has different zones ranging from 105-118 mostly its about 110 though in the main section. So I feel pretty good about that currently with his size.

My warm side though is usually only about 75 deg though with the pieces of rock and cork I have over there getting close to 80. That is when I use a temp gun to check temps. I dont have a thermometer just reading ambient temps.

The cool side is around 70 deg always. Sometimes I get spots that are a bit warmer or a bit cooler but not much movement over there.

So overall the temp of the substrate when measured with a temp gun is pretty consistent through out the cage. I feel like I need it to be a bit higher.

It sits around 80% humidity during the day and gets up to 90% during the night.

So in the pictures you can see where my lights are. I have another light fixture above the water tub. I was thinking I could move the water tub and put a ceramic heat emitter up there so the middle section of the cage gets some heat to go both directions.

I think CHE's radiate heat straight down though not to the surrounding area correct? So I would need to move the water or it would end up super heating the water I imagine.

My other option would be to change the middle fixture to the same one I have on the basking side. So I can have 2 more lamps in there. Then I could aim them as well. Which if I did that I was thinking I could put 2 smaller CHE's in there and aim one at the warm side and one at the cool side to give a little supplemental heat to both sides.

I have winter coming soon to Utah so I am mainly thinking CHE's because I can run them at night and keep the temps from getting too low during the nights.

What do yall think??

I don't know about the beat fixtures but the temp range and the humidity is right on.

!!! So you dont think I need to change anything temp wise? It is making me crazy paranoid right now. I figured the temps are why he is trying to go into hibernation right now. We only got to see him for like 4 days before he went in to sleep lol. Sad times!

It's daylength that triggers it and temps affect how soon or late. Individually and by age length and intensity of brumation change.

Super enclosure and super tegu.
