Alright i thought i would post this to help people out. I recently bought a heavy duty timer for my heat lamps and uvb's for all my lizards. Very good to have. It just makes life so much easier. I bought the heavy duty one because it has the 3 prong strip for my power strip and it i rated to support the amount of electricity. I have 4 lights on the timer but i could put more if need be. I have it set to turn on at 8:00am and turn off at 8:00pm. It was $19.99 and well worth it. Now i dont have to wake up early just to turn on their lights!

At my local Home Depot & Lowes they have cheap, two prong, low rating timers for $3... and they have higher quuality, 3 prong, higher rating, two outlet timers for $8... Then they had even higher rated, 3 prong timers for $12... Lastly they had medium rated, 3 prong, digital timers for $20...

I've used timers for my animals lights, heat, etc, etc for many years. By this point I wouldn't set up an enclosure/aquarium/etc without them...
