Did you get the measurements mixed up? It looks bigger than 2.5ft high with 3ft depth,.. should those be reversed or something completely different? Also the lights are too far away he needs a basking spot closer to the lights. Check the manufacturers specs for the best distance.

Other than that it looks great.

Yea it's 2.5 deep and 2.5 high don't know were i got the 3 from. The lights are some were around 2' from the basking areas, and according the the info that came with them that's plenty close. They are the the exo-terra solar glo's and it says they are good for up to 48 inches. I've never used these bulbs before but 4ft seems a little insane, but at 2' he should be ok right? If anyone has used these bulbs before let me know i just didn't want to fry my little dude. His first basking spot is around 110 and the other is about 115, the rest of the tanks goes to about 75 at the coldest spot. I'm having a bit of a fight for humidity though. I'm using a visible mist humidifier for a room with a hose hooked up to it the "pump" the moist air in. Works great on my Cham. tank but this is much larger. Near the hose it's about 75-85% but on the other side it's in the 40s. Once the lights go out it all goes to 99% when things cool down a bit. It that ok or should i turn it down at night and any ideas on getting the whole tank in the 80's during the day. I'm going to switch to soil and sand mix this weekend regardless but anyone think that will help.
