Anyone keep/kept teiids other than tegus?

I kept a NM Whiptail for a little while. I couldn't get her to eat so I eventually released her :(
They look like mini tegus! Extremely fast though, 15 MPH!

I use to have a green ameiva years ago, he passed one winter when a storm knocked out the. Power and the apartment only had a heater in one room :^(
