Hello!
I’ve had my Tegu for 3-4 years and he was pretty aggressive when he was little but has been cuddly and great with people since.
However, the last few days he has suddenly been trying to bite us any time he can and succeeded once in biting my dad. He let go immediately but still had a decent bite. Ever since he’s been striking at us any time we get him out and looking around constantly- the way he does when he’s about to get fed. He is still letting me handle him but he has tried to get me a few times since.
I prep his food for him and I checked again to make sure he’s getting everything he needs so I’m not sure what the problem is. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks!
