so i just recently got my new young tegu on sunday.(him and the bearded dragon have met and had baths together before, both didnt mind eachother) well about 2 days i ago,after giving my tegu a bath i was walking back to my room with little thorin on my head. i walked into the room and decided to just check out how my beardy was doing, well the moment i got close to my bearded dragons cage, thorin climbed down my head, down my arm and tried to hop at the glass (this is my beardys cage)
i uickly caught the little one, then i thought, ill let him explore in the bearded dragons cage for a bit, if hes curios (he had been in there once before, when they first met) so i opened the cage and he basically jumped in. my beardy did not care, just sat there while i pet her head.
after letting thorin explore a bit, i took him out and put him back in his cage
now today after holding the little guy he once again, leaped into the dragons cage when i got close (the glass was open this time, since i was going to fill a bowl with some veggies, for my beardie to nom on) . he seems to love it in there for some reason. why would that be? my bearded dragon could care less thatthe tegu is roaming around the cage, she was more concerned with the meal worms moving around in the plastic bowl
are tegus picky about their cages? and she just happens to like the bearded dragons one better then her own, or does she just like being around another lizard? (also before people hound me about them being close to eachother cause it could be dangerous. i basically stand there and watch them like a hawk to make sure nothing happens)
