Some information will help.

How hot is the basking spot? Does it have a gradient to cool. If so, what's that temp? If not hot enough, wit won't eat. If constantly too hot, can't get away to something in the mid-70s not good either. Basking spot about 115-120 F. good Should grad to mid-upper 70s F.

How long have you had it? If only a few days or maybe even one week, might still be a little rattled.

How big is it? A very young/small one might prefer crickets/roaches.

As an alternative food, try frozen/thawed rodents of appropriate size. Can even slit them to increase interest. Also, individual wet dog food, like Ceasers, may do the trick.
