Taming help

Hi, as couple of you know I caught a wild dwarf tegu (Ameiva exsul) about a week ago. She's eating fine and just finished shedding a couple of hours ago. I try to handle her every day for at least 5 to 10 min. She is still very wiggly when i try to grab her. I know its a long process but does anyone know how to speed the process up a bit?? :huh: Thanks

Shouldn't be handling an animal you just removed from the wild a week after you caught it. Give it time to acclimate.
