Stuck shed? Maybe?

Hey all! My boyfriend recently adopted a red tegu, around 4 months old, boy. He has been doing very well, vet visit went great. Recently he realized some black spots inbetween his limb creases? Has anyone else experienced this with their tegu before if so what should we do to help? I'm assuming it's stuck shed but i don't know. No pain when it is touched. Been having difficulty keeping humidity higher than 60s. Humid hide just made tonight! When we received him (2 weeks ago) he did have shed on him. The tegu had a bunch of energy still, no decrease in range of motion and is eating and pooping!

Basking: 115-120 f
Hot side: 85-90 f
Cool: 75-85 f
Substrate: top soil, sand, sphagnum moss, cypress mulch

Hi! Cute little guy. Sorry to say this but he needs a vet! I know they aint cheap but thats not stuck shed or a burn looks like some kind of skin infection or a reaction to something! Stuck shed wont turn black and be raw! How long have you had him?

Could possibly be he cut it on something too. But definitely needs a vet to look at it an treat it or try some antibiotic ointment like neosporin tho most people will say dont try to self treat if it was me that would be my first move if no improvement take him to the vet

He's a little cutie.
We agree with Rockyray. Our tegu had something similar on his back legs but not as severe. My son would first bathe him, then use reptile scale repair spray from Chewy. He also used betadine or chlorhexidine from CVS while waiting for the order from Chewy. The scale repair spray worked best.
Tegus are prone to skin issues. Lately ours has been getting irritated around his mouth.

Yeah my boyfriend just brought him up to me today and im looking at it now, ots on all his ankles and where the limbs attach to the body. Im going to give him a warm soak with some betadine and then give him some Neosporin on those areas. He has a lot of stuck shed though. I was thinking about doing a box with sphagnum moss and letting him sit in it for quite awhile to get some of that shed off but i am definitely calling the vet once they open back up. But i think i might do daily betadine soaks until then.
