Should I feed her more often?

I have been feeding Tofu every other day and recently since she has gone into the end stages of her shed and she has been looking for food whenever she is out of her enclosure. She tried to bite my jacket sleeve once (it smelled like food perhaps) and just seems hungry. She also has taken to charging my hand whenever I put it in her enclosure (not sure if it is a hunger thing or a cage aggression thing?) Should I feed her every day? When I feed her, I usually let her eat until she is full. She is also almost 2yo and about 2 feet long.

Thanks
Tricia

2ft long at 2yrs old seems small. If she seems hungry all the time, just feed her more. A full tegu is a happy tegu. I offer food to mine every day. being winter now he doesn't always eat it, but when it's warm, he eats every day and is never aggressive.

I would feed her everyday until she is 3ft at least. Since she will likely increase her growth at this time, make sure she has plenty of calcium added to food.

She has started to have a groove in between her tailbase and lower back, going down her body length. Does this mean she is getting obese? I don't really know what an obese gu looks like.

Kirby is still fed daily he's right at 3 foot. My rule of thumb on most reptiles is to feed daily till maturity (tegus that's 2-3 years old depending on sex) but that's just my rule after that I go to every other day or every 3rd day.

The groove on the back is concerning try an get a pic maybe we can help out.

I see reds with that groove. It seems to be muscle development or just how their back looks. But post aphoto if you are concerned.
