Mine came FedEx, but I always pick up at FedEx instead of delivery. I happened to let him get delivered and the box was in much worse shape compared to when I pick up.

I've received from both FedEx and USPS. Both animals arrived fine. I guess I could let the client chose which shipping method they prefer. Thanks for the input everyone!!!

You can ship lizards with either UPS or FedEx. With FedEx, you need to be individually certified, unless you are using ShipYourReptiles, then you are shipping under our certification. You need to meet our Shipping Standards, including temperature parameters and packaging requirements (which meet the FedEx minimum requirement as well).

In addition, the SYR rates start at 20% less than the FedEx retail rate. With the ShipYourReptiles service, you are also allowed to ship to and from residential addresses, which is not allowed under the regular FedEx reptile certified account.

And best of all, we offer On-Time and Live Arrival Insurance. You can receive a shipping refund if your package is one minute or more late and you can insure your animals for Live Arrival up to $5000 through the site directly, or to $20,000+ through me specifically. (FedEx offers NO refunds or insurance of any kind on live shipments, the SYR program is very unique)

We offer a very high level of customer service, and we are happy to answer questions by email or phone, feel free to contact us! [email protected]

You can ship lizards and other reptiles with US Postal, but no snakes.

Their overnight service is often spotty, is not guaranteed overnight to many addresses, and tracking and recourse stinks. The rate can be better at times, but I wouldn't risk live reptiles at the hands of US Postal. Even insect feeder suppliers have switched to FedEx and UPS services because the US Mail was so poor on service and performance.

I have used USPS, but it was 10yrs ago before SYR and ReptilesExpress were around. Choices were very limited.
