Screen top usage

I wanted to just post my feedback on those crappy screen tops for aquariums that people use for reptiles. I used one during Biggins first few months after arrivel.

These things are bad very bad. Biggin pulled 3 toe nails out trying to get out of his enclosure and rubbed his nose on the metal till it was bleeding. I'm so glad he;s in his new enclosure now....

Just my 2 cents dont use these.

Oh and one more thing, after being gone for 3 weeks you guy's arent going to belive how much he's grown.. I'll post new picks later. He's well over 3ft and huge, cant get my hand around the base of his tail.. his Head fits in my hand now, jaws are getting huge oh man.... I'll post later tonight if I get a chance.

my girl scrapped her nose on them also. its been better recently, we dont have any other options until she gets her new enclosure. I have always worried about her nails also, since she swings around from the top.

yea Biggin got to the point he wanted out and rubbed and tore out a few nails.. that screen is like a cheese shreder. not cool.
