Have some old cypress much in my attic in a rubber maid bin it been up there for the past 3 months maybe 4 in the 100 degree plus temp. I was picking through it to reuse, there was a couple of pieces of waste urine shed etc, can i resue it, will the smell affect if i put a tegu in there. Each bag is about 12 bucks i need 2 to get 3-4 inches in a 40 breeder.

I'd be careful. Even if the animal that used it before was healthy there is always a chance for the new animal to pick something up. I'm not too sure how illnesses work between different species. If it were me I'd just get new bedding, I got enough to cover the 8x5 for like $17.
