AGGRESSIVE 5.5yo argentine black and white tegu that I believe is female.
I am looking to rehome my tegu because she is incredibly aggressive and I do not think I am a good fit to work with her. She lunges at the door whenever she sees me and will leap into the air to bite me. She recently bit and latched onto a broom handle for a good amount of time, leaving teeth marks, and I realized how badly she could hurt me if I ever slipped up and let her get a hold of me. When she was smaller it was less of a big deal but now I’m too scared to get close enough to be bit.
I would like for her to go to an experienced home with someone who is fully aware of how aggressive she can be and is willing to work with her. Despite how mean she is I really love her so I want to make sure she goes to someone who will provide great care. One of the main reasons I haven’t rehomed her yet is because I’m not willing to let her go to someone I don’t believe will take care of her properly. Please comment/message me if you may be willing to take her.
