So I'm thinking about re-doing Gary and Rangos enclosure. For those that havent seen it, this is the one I'm talking about. I want to remove the front and side pieces and replace them with new plywood and add a hinged glass door in the front.
I've removed the grassy outdoor carpet stuff. I'm considering removing the 2x4's in the middle of the enclosure because I don't need it to support anything. It's stacked on Gurus enclosure.
I originally liked how the plexi-glass doors opened and still do but as the tegus get larger they are bending it when they push on the doors. I've added more latches and locks but they're still managing to bend it lol.
Would I be better off just making a new enclosure all together or can I just replaces pieces I need?

I don't see that replacing the pieces would be a problem. My only concern would be making sure the pieces were finished before you put them on the enclosure, due to fumes. Other than that, building a whole new enclosure would definitely cost more. If you think you have a working plan on how to replace the pieces and put it together, I'd say go for it.
