I am Verrry seriously considering buying a Radiant Heat Panel for my large enclosure. from the research that i have done, i have come up with this one as the front runner:

http://www.reptilebasics.com/160-watt-radiant-heat-panel

it is kinda pricey but best in the long run i think. so the question is does anyone have experience with these? are they all they crack up to be?

i have also looked at the helix brand and a couple of others. any input is appreciated!

I use the Reptile Basics heat panels for my larger boa enclosures and they work great. The company is also great to work with. I highly recommend them.

They run great in on-off mode, but to really use them to their fullest potential, I've found they work even better on proportional thermostat.
