Well I am going to use Drylock for my wooden enclosure I was just wondering if I could paint right over it? Also any specfic brand of paint I should use? Other helpful info would be glady welcomed thank you. :fc
Where are you putting it, I think its just an exterior sealant, not sure how it holds up to high humidity inside an enclosure. Only time ive used it is on masonry, but they do have a latex version, check that one
I'm going to put it inside the enclosure. I saw another post where he said drylock worked so well that he could fill up half of his wooden enclosure and it would not leak. I'll look into the latex one thanks awd
I used drylok extereme for blrnders cage. He has not used it yet. It is used for masonry but it is extremely hard and rough so I think it will hold up. I have been wrong before so time will tell.

My DryLock is dark Grey. I'm pretty sure I had them add some black tint to make it that way...
I've never painted over it with Latx paint, but provided you use the latex version, I see no reason why you couldn't It's probably a common enough approach that DryLock mentions it...
And yes my cage, after being in use for 15 months can still hold water up to the door
In the planning stages a couple of people suggested I may be concerend about claws gouging into the DryLock and exposing bare wood... Having worked with it now on a few projects, I no longer have that worry...
