Quandry about beardies

I need to info about my beardies. I hope someone can help. I picked up two beardies in Nov. 2008. I was told they were about 6 months old qre about 10-12 inches long right now. The larger one I was told is a male the other owner had no idea. I was at the gas station the other day with Sleepy(small) and was told by a guy that claimed to be a breeder that Sleepy is a female.
Now that you know that here is the rest.
They are housed together and always have been. I noticed a little bit ago that Sleepy has been sleeping more than usual during the day, off her basking perch and nose in a corner. This is the only odd behavior. She is mello. She eats better than the male.
Should I be concerned about the Sleepyness? and also I do not want to breed them when should I be worried about this behavior? Are there complications with breeding? Sleepy is my 7 year old daughters beardie and she would be devastated if anything were to happen to her little girl.

Sorry so long. Feedback is appreciated.

Well how big of a set up are they in? And are you are sure that they both are eating and poopin well...if you have the room you could always separate them just to be on the safe side and see if she perks up but she might just in her bermation (sp?) period and wanting to sleep...
