Pulling the temp on the cool end down

In NJ it's been about 90 degrees straight for a week and the lizards seem to be overheating....I have their basking lights (and UVB bulbs) on but all other lights have been off and I have the fan circulating the air in their room. However, they are really hot and hanging out on the cool end a lot, which is not so cool in terms of temperatures. I can't get it below 87 degrees right now...

is there something else I can do to make the cool end cooler within their enclosures?

You could also make a "cool hide". Kinda like a himid hide, but make sure the top has a little edge so it can keep melted ice water on top. Then just place ice cubes on top.....not too many, but keep testing until you get a good balanced temp.
