Pretty sure I want a B&W Argentine Tegu, seen a few generic reptile forums but just discovered this site and thought it would be better to join this as it's more specialised!
So yeah my plan is to research as much as possible before taking the plunge. I'm more than likely going to have to travel as I'm not sure if there are any breeders in the North-East of Scotland where I live.
I'm going to build an enclosure to suit, so in the next few weeks will be on here a lot double checking what I think I need with the more experienced members.
If anyone is interested in my reasoning behind one of these animals, I saw a photo of one and wanted one. I looked a little bit further into it, realised they have a brilliant temperament providing looked after properly, and just seem awesome in general. Wasn't until a bit later that the 4-5+ feet possible adult size sunk in haha.

kudos for doing your research and making preparations before hand. Tegus are definitely making their way around the globe.
