hello all! i am planning on making a steel cage for my tegu and monitor. and im wondering if enamel paint will be safe for them... im planning on painting enamel on metal and wood (going to put a plywood inside as a second floor) thanks!
thanks for the quick reply sir. one last thing, if the paint gets too hot (exposure to halogen floodlight/sunlight), will it emit fumes? thanks! im a bit nervous hehe
I highly recommend using Drylok to seal Plywood as opposed to enamel...
I've used Drylock on many projects. It easily seals a wood structure to be 100% water tight; it cures rough and hard like concrete but in no way porous. It is more than tough enough to stand up to Tegu claws and actually files the nails quite well.
