Picked up a male

I ended up finding someone that was better eqquiped to care for the red tegu that i had due to its already severe shed problems when i got it. I really wanted to keep her but i wanted to ensure that she would get better. So i gave her to a local rescue that dealt with tegus and larger lizards. :(

But on the up side i just picked up an adult male Blk and Wht that a flipper in my area had! I know i shouldnt have dealt with a flipper but i couldnt resist his handsome face... Poor guy was in a 40gal breeder and his water bowl took up half the cage so he had no room to move at all to regulate temps. And i seriously doubt she was feeding him properly as she had no idea they could eat fruit... Needless to say his suffering was only a month long as she had got him from a guy that said he was roughly 2-2.5 yrs old. Now he is getting held and roam time and pigging out on turkey (cant get him to eat liver or gizzards yet he picks around it so i have to pick up an extra batch of turkey just for him. lol)

But without further adu here is pics of the big man and my blk and wht girl i have :)
