i was looking on kingsnake just because, i saw a red iguana on there. he's orangish.
i thought it funny that before it cooled down here i kept my iguana outside and he was that same orangish color, maybe just not as much on him.
is this odd? any other time he's inside he's green. but i use a uva uvb bulb.
http://market.kingsnake.com/detail.php?cat=114&de=873350 this is the little red iguana :p

There is a subspecies of toads in my area that are "strangely" orange...

But it doesn't surprise locals because anyone who has lived here for more than 15 minutes knows the dirt here is orange...

Our dirt is orange because of the minerals it contains. Therefore everything in this region has those same minerals that create an orange color. Plus animals native to this region have evolved to camoflague themselves in a more orange environment...

We see Tegus on here from time to time with orange bellies, and just about every one of them live outside...
