Normal Red, or Crossbreed???

Hey guys, been a while since my last post. Anyways heres the story, back in Nov 2009 I purchased a "CB Baby Red Tegu (with stub tail)" from LLLReptile. After over a year he has grown into a big gu with few issues, I made a couple videos on youtube and got a couple comments asking if he was a crossbreed or not. Well I can't tell, so I thought might as well ask the folks on the forums.

So what do you guys think? Red Tegu? Crossbreed? (explain your reasoning please)

Just looks like a red to me, there's nothing about its color or anything to make me think other wise. What are people saying to make you think that he's cross bred and with what?

They range in color, some have more black, pink, red and white than others. I just don't see where someone would think its a hybrid.

If it was sold as red from LLL reptiles,.. they should know.
