Hello to everyone, my name is Tyler. Some of you might be curious as to why my user name is Fork. It's as simple as this, a few years ago i was signing up for a forum and couldn't think of a user name. I randomly thought of Fork (don't ask me why) and it has stuck ever since. I have the same user name on any forum i sign up on 
I got my first reptiles when i was about 8 and have been in love with them every since. I've kept snakes, frogs, turtles, and lizards in the past. In the past few years i have had unfortunate experiences with pet shops and i stopped getting new reptiles all together. I currently have a ball python, a bearded dragon, and a dog named Max. I often end up taking care of reptiles for people who go on vacation and such in my area, which is nice because i can learn about different reptiles and their care without making a long term commitment.
Lately i have been longing for a new pet since both of mine are getting pretty old. Over the past six months i have been doing my research to see what i want, somewhere along the lines of my searching i ran into a tegu and fell in love right away. I've been doing as much research and finding out as much as possible in the past couple months about tegus. After looking into all the information i have decided to get an Argentine Black and White Tegu.
At the moment i am working on a design for my future tegus enclosure, he is going to be indoors. Any good examples of nice indoor cages would be wonderful, I'm kind of in the brainstorming stage right now and I'm trying to put something together within a month or so because i know Bobby only has 30 or 40 B/W GU's left.
I'm very excited to get my tegu and raise it I think it's amazing how intelligent tegus are and i am completely fascinated by them. It seems like i can't get enough of them, and i don't even have one yet! :crazy
I'm very intrigued by the community on this forum, it seems quite positive and welcoming and i hope to become a nice part of it.
