New red x b/w Tegu!

Went down to the exotic pet store yesterday, and picked out my red x b/w argentine tegu! I picked out the smallest one. (Hoping it's a girl!) She's only about 2 months old. I put a deposit down on her, and will be bringing her home sometime this week, as soon as her terrarium is perfect!

You can have her probed to sex if it's important to know.the place I went to sexed theirs for me and then put them in seperate tanks.it didn't seem to freak them out too much,and now I have a really calm,snuggly male instead of guessing.:shy:

It's okay if it turns out to be a male, I won't complain! But the guys there said they aren't comfortable probing it, because of how young it is.

She's not buying those from Laura my friend. She getting that tegu from pet bazaar... Lol. Best pet store in central Florida!!!!. I was there today holding the bigger one..they are super calm. Only issue i have is the fact that they hand feed them so when you go to hold them you gotta move slowly lol.. Anyways congrats and keep us posted on growth... Yours is so tiny lol
