MVB = Aggressiveness??

Has anyone ever heard of a multi vapor bulb making a Tegu aggressive? I'm contemplating switching to a tube UVB to see if that'll make a difference. Any opinion on aggressiveness as it relates to a MVB? Also, if I do switch, how far does the tube have to be from the Tegu to actually give him adequate UVB? Thanks!!

No, but any associated heat will make it very active, and natural sunlight perks them up, but it agressive.

Never heard that, my tegu has been under a MVB since I got him, and he has no signs of aggression. He does become very restless in his cage and rather sit out in the living room under another MVB.

No. I have mine under a mvb also and no aggression whatsoever. The tube bulbs are considerably lower quality in my experience. What are you feeding? Proper diet and husbandry can go a long way towards health and attitude. When I'm uncomfortable I know I can be a "bit" more grumpy. ;)
