Moving Red Tegu

We are currently having a friend build us a 72"x48"x48" enclosure for Owen our Red Tegu. He is currently about 20 or 21 inches long, and my question is will it freak him out to move him from his 29 gal. tank to the large one? He is about 8 months old. Would this work? Here is a picture or two of him.

My tegu got a little aggressive/defensive when I moved him to his 8' cage. It took about two weeks for him to calm down.

When I moved Sobek to his 8ft enclosure he became a little more timid but it's been almost 2 weeks and he's back to his usual self, but slightly more energetic.

Your gu will get used to it.
