Mounting UVB

Hi I have my tegu in a temp tub an was wondering if there is anyway to mount a uvb light strip around it so my tegu absorbs all the UVB he needs

I hang my strip light inside my guys cage with hooks made from a metal hanger. Don't see why that wouldn't work with a tub as long as u make sure its the right distance from the tegu.

I do the same with my linear bulbs

The right distance is around 8-12 inches correct?

Each bulbs different. Read the packaging/ask the manufacturer.

Linears I place at 8", no farther than 10-12" without obstruction. MVB PowerSun100watt I place at a min of 12" and 160watt a minimum of 18-24".
