so iv decided to look into a dwarf caimen, as soon as i make some room im planning on seriously looking for one. iv heard of a lot of different variations of dwarfs and im wondering if anyone knows if any of em are just made up. if there is a croc smaller than a dwarf let me know.=] i vary aware of how big they get and how much damage they can do. if i were to get one i have a 75 gallon tank i would be using for it. only think i need advice on is the different species that are out there. iv looked into dwarfs and speckled so far.

Dwarf caimans grow at a rate of at least half an inch a month, according to what I'm reading. It sounds like it would outgrow a 75 gallon pretty quickly, and this is an example of an adult enclosure I found- http://www.reptilechannel.com/lizards/lizard-care/caiman-enclosure.aspx
Also, more information on species of crocodillians, can be found at http://crocodilian.com/crocfaq/faq-1.html

That article is so flipping awesome! That would make a totally BA water monitor enclosure too. I'm sure it cost an arm and a leg to make, but geeze that looks fabulous!
