ive heard that what yr tegu eats can affect many things, like shedding. so here is a few random questions:

cooked meat or raw meat?

what kinda liver do u feed yr tegu?

feed only/mainly rats/mice?

never fed rats/mice?

chicken/ turkey only?

veggies along with meat?

fruits along with meat?

fruits and veggies with meat?

eat bugs (mealworms, crickets, ect) ?

calcium power?

mult vitamin?

can tegu food?

fed inside inclosure or in separate container ?

add questions if u wish...

here are my answers: mainly cooked meat, mainly chicken liver, elmo has never eaten rats/ mice, eats friuts and veggies wit meat with cal and mult. vitamin , barely eats bugs, never had can food, always eats in separate container.

All meat is fed raw. Liver can be from any animal (beef, chicken, pork, turkey, etc). I'd recommend a primarily whole prey (mice, rats, roaches, crickets, superworms, hornworms, silkworms, earthworms, snails, chicks, frogs) + ripe fruits + veggies over a primarily meat diet. Anything that doesn't contain bones should be supplemented with calcium (I like Repashy Calcium plus). Meat by itself is way too devoid of many important nutrients.
