Kids are funny sometimes.

Had to get some wood shavings at Petco and thought, eh why not take Bosco with me. Harnessed him up and he sat in the cart as we went in. The clerks are use to this but this little girl came up and pointed at the Bosco but would not say anything. Her mom came up and said that she is very shy but she wants to know what animal I had in my cart. I took Bosco out and told her that he was a tegu. She looked and petted Bosco very gently for a few minutes. As I put Bosco back in the basket the girl said 'Bye thanks for letting me play with the kitty." She waved into the basket and said "Bye kitty."

I chuckled to myself and seeing as she was only 5 or so I did not correct her.

Great little girl and I should also give kuddos to her mom. Mom didn't seem at all worried about Bosco which is not normally the case.
