I will be building a 8x3x4 (four foot tall) enclosure. I was going to put this http://lightyourreptiles.com/48hot5dobufi3.html in for UVB. But is it way over kill? The thing is I want a uvb on the top of the ceiling of the cage. Something to light up most of it and something that can be placed on top. I'll have 12 inches of substrate at least. So, the distance will be okay with this fixture and bulbs. But are 2 bulbs okay? I really like this and it would light up the cage.

Also, I am going to use 2-3 low wattage par 38 floods for a heat source. I'm going to have a big shelf where my gu can go bask under them. Well most people buy the cheap ceramic sockets and wire them to a power plug or something. I want another option. I dont want to wire anything if possible. But when I look for sockets for the bulbs, there is never an attached power cord. So now I'm thinking of buying a dome type of light fixture (more than 1 obviously). And then taking off the dome leaving it with just the socket and cord. If I do that ..... how would I attach that to the roof/ceiling of the cage though? Bottom line. I just want a simple socket or fixture for a flood that has a power cord. 2 of them to be exact.
