Is it ok to use indoor paint the enclosure before sealing it?

Im going to build an enclosure, and i might use OSB sheets (if its ok to use that) because its much cheaper than plywood. But i happen to hate the way it looks. So i wanted to know if its safe to use indoor paint to make it look nicer?

Painting is fine. However, I would not paint before you seal it at all. You want nothing between your material and sealant.
