Hi guys, Josh has asked me to share my story with not only him, I Got a juvenile black and white, he is about 25-30cm long, I purchased his for R3000 at an expo, on saturday, on monday I had him on my shoulder whilst I was working, and he jumped of my shoulder trying to reach a table, but did not make, he lander on the ground spraining his front right wrist, and yesterday (thursday) I had taken him to the vet, on Joshes advice, I went to the vet and he X-rayed him and thats when I had found out that he has sprained his front wrist, the Vet has told me that I must restrict him from to much activity for 10 days and I must get him into proper sun light not artificial sun light (E.g UVB globes,) for 2-3 hours a day, and the vet has giving me Petcam- Meloksikam, oral suspension for dogs to relive the pain and swelling. Just a drop on a recomended Cat/Dog food the name of it is Hills A/D, this morning I came into work and he is looking alot better already he has started to use that foot and starting to slowly put pressure on it again :D I am hoping this can help with other peoples tegu's in the future also l,

THANKS
TYLER

Well we maybe going through the same thing. This afternoon our chacoan was fine and now this evening he will not use his right front leg at all. His enclosure is low to the ground so he did not fall. I only think he got his leg caught and pull so hard that he injured himself. If he is not better by the morning will call the vet. Bummer.
