I'm starting to freak out, My big boy has this hard "thing" kind of poking out the side of his stomach and i think it might me a piece of mulch. I dont think it was there before and i'm not sure exactly what it is and I'm hoping it doesnt have to result in an x-ray/operation. He's pooping and eating fine but i'm really concerned. HELP!

I'm no vet, but if he is eating, pooping, and acting normal it doesn't sound like a HUGE problem. I would keep a close eye on him though and see if it worsens...If he was impacted he definitely wouldn't be pooping and stop eating.

H'es been eating like a champ and ate quite a bit today too but I did just notice is and it's a pretty big woodchip (or whatever it is).. so it maybe just ate it today.. I'm really worried, He also just pooped about 20 minutes ago.

Was there anything off or different with his poop?

No, not really.. The poop was normal but the white stuff was a little more cottage cheese like but other than that no. And as far as a picture, no. You cant really see it because he just a bunch and he has that beer belly goin on.

When I worked with gu's at the shop sometimes it was just the position they were in making them look a bit off.

If it gets worse or something happens take him to the vet. Sounds to me like a x-ray could do some good if it comes to it.

:O I'm sure it will eventually pass if it isn't affecting any bodily functions...But if it worsens, like I said before, a vet visit wouldn't do any harm.

I'd keep a really close eye....even if he does keep eating there shouldn't be something stabbing out the side of him and moving...it could rupture his insides
