Hi all. Godzilla is doing ok except she wont eat. I know she is getting ready for hybernation, but she needs to eat, doctors orders.

All Im looking for is ideas to get her to eat some mice. Frozen not live.

I have tried wiggleing them, putting some honey (or other things to attract attention) on them. Cutting the mouse open, tong feeding, and isolating her in a small place with the food. Every time she simply ignores the mouse. She doesnt even show any intrest in it.

Any more ideas?

Blend the mouse up and mix it up with a little ground turkey. I remember you saying she only eats ground turkey, so mix the two.

yea try turkey and other meet blends. hate to say it but a live mouse might help the process and stimulate their natural predator behavior, and he just might gobble it up right then and there, no tricks needed. i hope he cont.'s to do well and make a full recovery.

Get a med dropper that u give kids..make a bowl of chicken broth..mix some vitamin in it..take a towel and rap it around his body..take the dropper fill it and open his mouth by butting your two fingers on each side of his mouth to open..try this a few times in a day..next day give him a pinky, but before u give it to him.take the pinky and let it sit in the chicken broth and see what the tegu do.make sure the broth is warm..try that if u like and let me know if it works for u..good luck

Force feeding her wont hurt her will it? She struggles a lot. Id try the egg idea, but she doenst even lick the mouse at all, she turns her head from it. I dont really like the live idea, or the smoothy idea, but I just might have to try them.
