I never had a humidifier set up on any enclosure before and have always tried to keep up humidity by using a spray bottle. Ive never really had a issue with this living in FL. I really wanted to set things up properly so I saw fellow member Rob K. had set up his Rhino Iggy with a pharmacy store Humidifier which costs around 30$ and the ones I see at the local pet shops cost about 50$ - 60$. So I purchased 2 to start off with and the second I hooked them on top of each cage... both Lizards came right out and were relaxing on their hides like they were at Club Med! Right now I tossed one on my Rough Neck Monitors and my small Red Tegus enclosure which you can see on this thread that I just built ( http://www.tegutalk.com/showthread.php?tid=8986#axzz1T8slsiDa ) and I hope Rob K. doesnt mind but this is where I coppied his Humidifier set up from ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNWs4MaoNOg ) I had recently got this Red Tegu who has alot of old shed built up and I had been giving him warm baths daily to help break down some of his old shed. I figured this would help out big time. anyone with a few extra bucks I highly reccomend the humidifiers! :) Thanks again to Rob K.
