Greetings,
I am new here. My family has a less than year old Black and White Argentine Tegu, Tofu.
We keep their enclosure clean, however, today we noticed tiny little white bugs crawling on the glass, substrate and now him. We're trying to figure out what they are. They are round, fast moving, opaque white in color. Almost look like baby spiders...
We did have a resident long-legged spider we recently evicted from Tofu's tank, could they be baby spiders?... Help identifying, advice and experience with this matter is greatly appreciated. I will try to get a pic. Thanks!

I had the Same problem with every cypress mulch I've ever used. They are mites, springtails and other isopods. I would switch to a blend of organic soil, sand and cocohusk. Coconuts is a pest repellent and hold moisture really well. Or get used to be going mulch every 3-4 weeks. Also my tegus would try to eat the mites and eat substrate a couple times. So I keep one tegu on fake grass and one has the mix. The one on grass accidentally days substrate so he gets piled of fame plants to dig in. Hope this helped.
