Hi, I'm Norman,

I'm not new to tegus, but can't say that I'm all that experienced either. I really would like to get a tegu, or preferably a pair. I have primarily kept arachnids, geckos, snakes, and am working with red ackie monitors. Big lizards have always been of interest to me, and tegus seem like the best option. I look forward to getting to know you all, and hope to learn a thing or two here on the forum. Thanks!

Welcome. Having kept herps, especially monitors, gives you a leg upon it all. I keep other herps as well, and Argies are fun.

Welcome! I am a grad student actively involved in a gentic ecology study with tegus, and after 10 years I am up to 5 tegu childeren among several other animals!

Let me send you the care sheet I developed wih my reptile vet! Good way to make sure you know what your getting into, and to get good Info first...lots of bad info out there!

Also I have 3 blues and 2 paraguyan high-white Reds that are hatchlings born 6/23 and 7/6...I order them, photograph and measure for my work, then resell them to cover some of my expenses.

I use PayPal, $275+ ship for blues, $250+ship for reds.
If your looking for a pair, I assume for breeding? Always raise up yourself... as adults are hard to get and often sold past breeding age. They are breed ready by size not age...and this is usually at 1.5-2 years old.
