Grumpy shedding!

Hi guys,

Does your Tegu get "grumpy" when he's shedding. Eric is seeming a little less friendly than usual every time he sheds, is this normal?

I can only speak for my two. Both Gordo and Eva get a bit feisty or grumply if you will, just before a shed. I bathe them frequently which I think helps with the itchiness. Once the skin starts coming off, they get better and allow me to pull the dead skin off of them. When "in shed", they are bathed daily.
