Growing Healthy Herbs Inside Tegu Enclosure

Hey, I noticed a baby plant sprouting in the topsoil I bought and it gave me an idea: Maybe I can grow some herbs that require a med-high humidity inside of my enclosure for me, and maybe the Tegu if they are healthy for him.

I could perhaps grow them in a suspended case I thought, so the tegu can not get in them. Just an idea.

Does anyone know of tegu healthy or human healthy herbs I could grow at 70-80 percent humidity?

Lol I don't think that would work. Anything that would start going would be shredded up by the tegu before it even had the chance to grow much.

He said in a suspended case probably.

All I can give you if a simple google search.

No first hand experience to go from though, sorry.

But even in a suspended case, unless it were completely boxed in, the tegu would likely be climbing all over it. Tegus seem to accept everything in the cage as a challenge.

Why is this so true.
