I found some quail eggs, frozen apple snails that have been boiled and frozen headless anchovies at the local oriental market. My question is how to prepare the quail eggs for my red hatchling? I take it the other 2 items are o.k. as well after thawed? Thanks for your help.

Ive bought all those from my local market as well, I rinse everything off really well just to be sure no salt was added... you can give the quail eggs whole, or crack them and give them raw, or you could hardboil them if you want...

i am not sure, it is a small mom and pop shop, hard to communicate with them, English is so so. I can check. I would be happy to work with you and ship it my self if needed.. the bag was only 3 or 4 dollars, probably a pound or two. I can check when I get home from work.

I love hitting the Asian markets, luckly in San Diego there are a few good ones to choice from. Just picked up some rabbit parts, quail eggs, frog legs and some shrimp for the animals, and some goat and shrimp for me. Before people judge me goat is actually really good and makes great tacos.

Dr Pepper get in contact with underground if they are not too far from ya they have a source they use for their caimans, I am sure they would be cool with letting you use their source.

To me goat tastes just like beef. It's the most commonly consumed red meat in the world and is healthier than beef. I've eaten whale, so I ain't gonna judge you for enjoying a goat taco (sounds good).

The great mom and pop asian market in my area just closed. Sadly that just leaves us with the asian mart chain (sunrise supermarket) which charges obscene prices for most of their stuff. I went looking for quail eggs and it was 4$ for 10 tiny eggs. Cracyness.

Hey guys thnx i went to underground with my wife and they didnt want to sell the albino redxblue just yet but he said if they do decide to sell them they will likely be btwn 1,000- 1,500. They had regular redxblue tegu's on display and not yet for sale that will be going for approx $350-$400 later. i also asked for their contact with snail meat and picked up 3 packages at a local asian grocery store in that area. (still a 2hr drive from home) but should last till the end of the month so i guess till i find something closer im gonna have to take that drive at least once a month Rowley shore is worth it...thank you chelvis and aambumann if you guys ever need anything from around my way just ask and ill get it for you guys thanks for all you're help and support...later

Asparagus and Quail Eggs with Cheese Sauce
Cook fresh asparagus tips until tender. Make a white sauce with 3 cups of milk, 3 tablespoons of flour and 2 tablespoons of butter. Arrange asparagus on slices of toast. Put 2-3 poached quail eggs on a slice of toast. Add grated cheese to hot white sauce, beat until the cheese is melted and pour over eggs and asparagus. That's how I do it.
